Often referred to as the  “River of Grass” the sawgrass marshes are part of the ecosystems that include  cypress swamps, mangrove forests, tropical hardwood hammocks, pine rockland, and the marine environment of Florida Bay. One of the best ways to explore the Everglades is by airboat. Check out Sawgrass Recreation Park for family friendly fun all year.
